A Tradition of Community and Growth
Over the years, our market has called a few locations home, including the Strathmore Kinsmen Park Pavilion and the Strathmore & District Ag Society Exhibition Grounds. We’ve had the privilege of hosting hundreds of incredible vendors, many of whom have gone on to build thriving businesses. If you’re interested in joining our market community, visit our Become a Vendor page to learn how you can be part of our growing tradition.
The Passing of a Great Friend
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a long-time friend
December 7, 1959 - March 15, 2025
Barb Narajiwsky (Baba) passed away on March 15, 2024. She was a long-time Vendor of the Strathmore Farmers Market for over 21 years sharing her passion for cooking and baking with the community. She extended her passion and generosity for community service by taking on the role of President of the Strathmore Farmers Market for over 10 years.
Barb’s departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to feel the warmth of her kindness and a taste of her baking.
Our heartfelt condolences goes out to not only her immediate family but to her Farmers Market Family as well. Her warmth, beautiful smiling face and big heart that gave so freely will be cherished and sadly missed by all.
